The Juvenile Probation Department monitors youth placed on probation or involved in the Knox County Juvenile Court Diversion program. The objective is to provide the youth and families with services that will guide the families and youth in a positive direction.
Knox County Juvenile Court has developed four levels of probation. These include Intensive Probation, Regular Probation, Court Probation, and Administrative Probation. Knox County Juvenile Court probation department also does assessments, pre-sentence investigations and home studies. Knox County Juvenile Court Probation Department also supervises many programs that may be ordered by the court. These programs include Podville, community service, physical fitness programs, parenting programs, tutoring programs, life skill programs, and jobs programs.
