Currently in his second term as Knox County Commissioner, Bob Wise takes great pride in serving all the citizens of Knox County.
A native of Knox County, Bob has lived in Gambier, Danville, and the Mount Vernon areas. Residing on a small farm on the northern edge of Mount Vernon, he and his wife, Karen, enjoy a wonderful family. His mother, Edith lives on an adjoining property. His daughter Susan and her husband, Brian Hogg, also live nearby in the Fredericktown area. He is the proud grandfather of three boys: Evan, Peyton and Brandon. His daughter Ashley lives in Mount Vernon. Son, Andy, and wife Kelly reside in Cincinnati with granddaughter, Elizabeth. Families are of upmost importance to him. The quality of life in Knox County for all citizens is the major priority on Bob Wise’s agenda.
With many years of successful personal experience running his family-owned gas propane business, serving two (2) terms as a Morris Township Trustee, and now in his 7th year as County Commissioner (serving two years as President), Bob brings know-how and business expertise to the forefront to keep Knox County fiscally balanced. Bob Wise stands up for his own family - - - and he will stand up for YOU.
